Absolutely! We can add personalised decorations to your Red Velvet cake to make it uniquely yours. Just let us know your preferences, and we’ll make it happen!
How far in advance should I place my order for a Red Velvet cake?
To ensure we have enough time to craft your perfect cake, we recommend placing your order at least 48 hours in advance. For larger orders or special requests, giving us more notice is always appreciated.

Where can I pick up my Red Velvet cake?
You can collect your cake from our bakery in Wandsworth or our Soho store. Simply choose the pick-up location that works best for you when you order.
Do you offer same-day delivery for Red Velvet cakes?
Our bespoke cakes are baked fresh to order, so same-day delivery isn’t always possible (we recommend 2 days’ notice at minimum), but if you have a cake emergency please contact us directly to check availability.
Can I order a Red Velvet cake without Cream Cheese frosting?
Yes - for special requests contact us and we’ll do our best to help. We can offer most of our cakes with regular buttercream as well as cream cheese and Swiss Meringue icing.
What makes a Red Velvet cake red?
Red Velvet’s signature red hue originally came from the natural chemical reaction that occurs when cocoa powder is mixed with acidic ingredients like buttermilk. We use this method at Crumbs & Doilies, along with a light addition of red food colouring to get just the right shade.
